Hardware compressed H.264, Hybrid PCI cards
NVR supports CCTV & Mega Pixel Hi-Def IP cameras, DVRs
Mac and PC compatible client s/w
ONVIF compatible

Hardware features
  • HikVision DS40xxHC and DS42xxHFV encoder cards: all channels record @30fps with audio, up to 64 cctv or IP cameras per PC. OEM s/w is available.
  • HikVision DS400xMD series matrix output: 2 or 4 channel TV matrix output, fully flexible for output configuration. OEM s/w is available.
  • On board hardware encoding to H.264, does not use up any CPU cycles. An "old" 3GHz P4 can handle 64 channels all @30fps CIF at only 20% CPU cycles. This makes the DVR very stable.
  • Expansion by adding addition cards that can be a mix of 4,8,16 channels.
  • For DS40xxHC cards, all channels can be set to encode as 30fps, video+audio, CIF(352x240pixels) or 2CIF(528x360pixels) with "Dual stream" feature. Users can use s/w to combine two channels to create 4CIF(704x480pixels) resolution, also @30fps video+audio , dual stream.
  • "Dual stream" means double encode in real time; main stream can be set to high resolution, high frame rate, high quality for storage and for LAN streaming; sub-stream can be set to lower parameters to fit into Internet bandwidth limitations. Remote users can view with their selection on main or sub streams.
  • For DS40xxHC cards, if dual stream is not needed (e.g. for LAN only, not for Internet), users can set all channels to 4CIF resolution at 12fps, without using dual stream, and without the need to combine two channels to one.
  • DS42xxHFV is a new model that supports dual stream, 4CIF, 30fps video+audio for all channels, up to 16 channels per card. Can install Only two cards per computer.
  • Same s/w supports HiKvision and Dahua cards on one computer.
  • Two card types, PCI and PCI-e, can be mixed.

Introduction

H.264 is MPEG4 Part 10/AVC codec that provides high compression, high quality video, best suited for surveillance application. It makes use of block transfers and motion compensated predictive coding. When compared with MPEG2 coding, MPEG4 ( H264 ) uses 1/3 of the bandwidth (1/3 of storage space) to deliver the same quality video. When compared with MPEG4(ASP), MPEG4 (H264) uses 3/5 of the bandwidth ( 3/5 of storage space) to deliver the same quality video. These cards can be mixed and stacked for expansion.

Encoded samples @840MB per hour, video+audio, 4CIF (704x480 pixels)
You can right click on the video to view at full screen.
IE browser users: allow Windows Active-X to play the video
Google Chrome & FireFox: download the "windows media player firefox plugin" to play.

Contact us @905-513-2722 if you like to apply this s/w on your cards. This s/w is free if you purchase HiKvision, Netvision, Dahua and DG product from us.
Why HiKvision cards with OEM (enhanced NV) s/w?
  • HikVision provides "basic" application software. The product is meant for OEMs to enhance the s/w before being used, or resell. Many dealers would not bother to re-write the software, therefore, the s/w capability is limited. Our software has implement lots of enhancement features and is the most comprehensive compared with similar products in the market. The software is updated regularly, about 2~3 times a year.
  • NV software is the first to support ONVIF (International standard interface for IP cameras), 64 bit windows, iphones, ipads, Black Berry, Android, and has written the client s/w for MAC.
  • NV software supports HikVision, Dahua, DG family of products: PCI cards, PCI-Express cards, standalone NVR, Video servers and IP cameras.  Since they use the same hardware encoder, one set of software can manage all of these many devices.  Internet Explorer with the same active-X can view all of these appliances.  The client software, called "Remote Client", is Windows and Mac compatible, and can connect to 64 different appliances at the same time. Data files from all these appliances are common in format, which is the first in this industry.
  • CMS (Central Monitoring Station) software for HK cards can handle up to 10,000 cameras.
